Meaning of Membership

For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” ~Romans 12:4-5

Church memberships nota means of salvation; becoming a member of Christian Fellowship Center or any other church does not assure anyone of eternal life in heaven. Church membership is alsonot a requirement for worshipping or serving at Christian Fellowship Center, and it is not a command found in the Bible. The Bible does tell believers, however, to meet regularly with a group of Christians who love, serve, and encourage one another (see Ephesians 4:16, I Timothy 3:15, and Romans 12:4-5).

Some churches link church membership and baptism, but that is not the case at Christian Fellowship Center. If you’d like to learn more about baptism, we offer quarterlybaptism classesfor all ages.
